Events and rhythms
A calendar built on repetition
The life of this church runs on rhythms rather than events: the same worship, the same Table, and the same singing, week after week, until it forms a people.
Weekly
Every week
Lord's Day Worship
Every Sunday, 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Covenant renewal worship at 601 Michigan Street. The center of the week, every week of the year.
Fellowship Meal
After worship, except psalm sing week
The congregation eats together following the service every week apart from psalm sing week. Visitors are expected to stay, and there is always enough.
Monthly
Every month
Psalm Sing
Second Friday of every month
We gather to write the Psalms on our hearts, learning new settings and practicing familiar ones, because we want our singing to be true and beautiful. The location moves from month to month and is announced in church.
Yearly
Through the year
Easter Celebration and Feast
Easter
We mark the resurrection of Christ with worship and a feast together, the high point of the church year.
Reformation Day Party
October 31, 2026
A party in honor of the recovery of the gospel in the sixteenth century, and a good excuse to celebrate it loudly.
Christmas Celebration and Feast
Christmas
We gather to celebrate the incarnation, and we do it around a table.
Dates for the feasts and any additional services are announced at worship. The easiest way to stay current is to be there on Sunday, and the second easiest is to ask an elder.
The front door to all of it is Sunday morning
Every rhythm on this page starts at the same place: Lord's Day worship at 10:30 AM.
