The Bible, our only infallible rule of faith, gives clear qualifications for leadership in the Church. Elders are to be men who love and lead their households well, men who are holy, above reproach, and of good reputation (Titus 1, 1 Timothy 3).

Daniel Spratt
Ruling Elder
Daniel Spratt is an Army brat who has lived everywhere and landed in Leavenworth by God’s providence. Blessed to be born and raised in a Christian home by faithful parents, Daniel met his wife, Sarah, at church and they married in 2005. They currently have seven children, two of whom are with the Lord. Daniel is an autobody tech by trade, a collector of books by choice, carries a gun by conviction, and enjoys a bonfire with the fellowship of the saints. Working to give his children a classical Christian education, Daniel aided in the startup of an ACCS school, where he continues to serve on the board. His oldest child, a daughter, is studying at New Saint Andrews College. In 2021 he was honored to be ordained as the founding, ruling elder of Christ Church Leavenworth.
KJ Behler
Ruling Elder
KJ Behler grew up in a big family in Missouri and Georgia and ended up in Leavenworth, Kansas by God’s good design. He spent most of his life in the Kansas City, Missouri area where he met his wife, Laura, and they married in 2014. God has since blessed them with four children, three daughters and one son. KJ holds a bachelor’s degree from UMKC and works as a software developer most days. Other days he builds culture by shaping young minds at St. Giles Christian Academy, where he is the founding Headmaster and Bible teacher. By night, he shapes the future by reading to his kids. KJ is passionate about fatherhood, reformed theology, classical Christian education, and enjoys most things that go vroom or boom. KJ was installed as a ruling elder at Christ Church Leavenworth in 2022.
Arnie Abens
Elder Pro-Tem, Christ Church Twin Cities
Arnie Abens grew up in a cornfield in Illinois, catechized and trained by godly parents, pastors, and teachers. Arnie enjoys raising cattle, collecting chicken eggs, and golfing. Most of all he enjoys spending time with his family, especially his wife of 34 years, Jennifer. They have four children, three children-in-law, and four grandchildren. Most Saturdays you will find them all enjoying a Sabbath feast together.
Daniel Ralph
Elder Pro-Tem, Christ Church Twin Cities
Daniel Ralph is married to Susan, and they have five children, Noah, Rebekah, Bethany, Keziah, and Jonah. Daniel has been in pastoral ministry for twenty-four years, serving in Cornwall, the northwest of England, and Scotland before moving to Christ Church Twin Cities in Minnesota.

Donald Indermuehle
Deacon
Donald Indermuehle is married to his wife Rebecca and together they have been blessed with six children, Emma, Silas, Titus, Isla, Malia, and Ulrich. Donald works for Oracle on information systems and teaches mathematics and physics at St. Giles. He loves camping, making big fires, and listening to history.

Our session is made up of local elders and pro-tem elders from Christ Church Twin Cities in Excelsior, Minnesota, the congregation that planted us in 2020.
